THE COLOURFUL WORLD OF VALENTINO

Out of Venice’s Gaggiandre comes the latest colourful couture collection from Valentino.

On Instagram, the brand states that the ‘Valentino Des Atelier’ show “interacts with the world of art, creating looks that echo the colors, signs and layers of painted work.” Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli collaborated with painters to incorporate their works into garments from the collection for both a visually stunning and successful partnership.

Throughout the collection, sharp-winged, colourful graphic liner looks appear in a clever contrast against the otherwise minimal makeup.

In another Instagram post, , the brand writes that “painting is to contemporary art what Haute Couture is to fashion,” and we couldn’t agree more. Every garment is truly a masterpiece. We’re big fans of the artful precision and extravagance sewn into Couture garments.

A grandiose array of shades and shapes, this bright collection brings about ideas of a colourful, post-pandemic world of fashion—a world which was once dimmed by the unknown and the devastation of a dark pandemic.

To a brighter fashion world, cheers Valentino.
