On Thursday, October 19, 2017, Influencers from the worlds of design, fashion, art, philanthropy, and business gathered to celebrate the unveiling of RH Toronto, The Gallery at Yorkdale.  Supermodel, and host committee member Coco Rocha graced the affair—with DJ performance by Chris Malinchak of New York. The event successfully served a dual purpose—to showcase the wow factor that the RH brand lends Toronto, and to benefit beloved local charity, Breakfast of Champions in support of SickKids. The well appointed RH Café did not disappoint as guests were served gourmet bites, paired with the finest curation of fresh peach bellinis by Cipriani NYC and rich wines by Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley and Blackbird Vineyards.  A party isn't quite a party without an exclusive addition—a caviar bar paired with vodka martinis. This innovative new retail experience blurs the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality. Guests will dine in a dramatic skylit courtyard café with venetian plaster walls, heritage olive trees and trickling fountains, or enjoy a handcrafted coffee or glass of wine from the pantry and espresso bar while they experience artistic installations of furnishings and décor from RH Interiors and RH Modern. Visitors will explore the expansive atrium and Rooftop Park showcasing RH Outdoor collections with iconic views of the Toronto skyline, and interact with RH’s team of professional interior designers, who can help reimagine a space and conceptualize a fresh and inspiring way to live.

RH Toronto is the retail monument that marks RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman’s ongoing collaboration with James Gillam of Backen, Gillam & Kroeger—a firm recognized as one of Architectural Digest’s Top 100 architect and design firms in the world.
