Holt Renfrew x Uncrate South America

This week Dauphine was present at Holt Renfrew Bloor Street where it was transformed with the colours, sights and sounds of Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru all to celebrate the recent launch of H Project’s Uncrate South America. The launch presented the new collection of artisan-produced items from the continent that are also now available in H Project shops across Canada and through holternfrew.com.

Fuelled by the desire for a on positive change, this project began with a trip, led by Holt Renfrew’s Director, Brand & Creative Strategy, Alexandra Weston, earlier in the year. She visited the three South American countries and sourced the extraordinary products, that are all in partnership with some of Holt Renfrew’s great designer partners.

The evening started with an intimate panel discussion moderated by Andrew Sardone, Editorial Director, Globe Style, along with Alexandra Weston and Uncrate South America’s designers: Andrea Lenczner and Christie Smythe of Smythe, Franceska Earls of Augden, Ulla Johnson, and Kessa Laxton and Roxanne Joyal of Me to We. It focused on the topic of positive change in the fashion industry.

Then guests were treated to an incredible party. Holt Renfrew’s events team  brought to life some of the highlights of the trip including a swing that mimicked Ecuador’s “swing at the end of the world”, Bolivia’s Salt Flats, equipped with its own oxygen bar to aid people with “high altitude sickness” and the sea of colourful pompoms. Along with a Holts Café menu inspired by the continent.
